Dr. Mohamed Galal is a UK-trained Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 16 years of experience in advanced eye care, specialising in corneal diseases, cataract surgery, laser vision correction, refractive surgery, and complex anterior segment conditions. As Acting Cornea Consultant and Cataract Service Lead at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, UK, he led cataract service development, performed advanced corneal transplantation procedures, and contributed to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
He completed a prestigious Fellowship in Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital, one of the UK’s leading corneal and refractive surgery centres. Dr. Galal is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow (FRCS) and is licensed to practise in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
